Goat and sheep gruyere
Graviera of Crete is one of the most popular cheeses in Greece. It is known for its excellent quality, the traditional way of preparation, its pure ingredients and its uniquely pleasant taste.
A symbol of traditional Cretan diet, with a huge history of preparation on our island for centuries, Cretan gruyere is characterized as a hard table cheese.
Its color is light yellow to white, with round holes and natural crust on the outside, it has a very pleasant, sweet and slightly salty taste and rich aroma.
Graviera of Crete can be consumed alone, with bread, barley snacks, nuts, as a frying pan, in salad, toast or by dipping it in honey and generally accompanying whatever food is on our table. Available in cutting refrigerators but also in airtight packaging pieces.
