High-quality dry alcoholic drink -Tsikoutia – (Raki) / 38% Vol

An alcoholic spirit for strong pleasures, fully organic. It is produced by traditional methods, from organic grape stems.

We enjoy it alone, cool or with ice, and it “binds” uniquely with dried fruits, nuts or chocolate!

It is an aged spirit of a high level, with a soft texture in the mouth and a clean, long finish where the characteristic aromas of oak stand out.

The favorite, traditional drink of Crete is a product of distillation from 100% natural products, without impurities (additives). It is distilled and aged in oak barrels, which give it’s wonderful, bright color.

It is produced with a strict selection of organically grown grapes, of excellent quality, and does not contain genetically modified organisms (DIO Certification).

Time stops, the area calms down, the taste passes, little by little, into another dimension.

Thus, patiently, the aging in oak barrels is “born”. With the passion of many years of tradition and the wisdom of waiting, we are rewarded with superior quality in enjoyment.

It’s worth waiting to enjoy the strongest taste mystique!

ouzo, the quintessential Greek product!

“Stalia” ouzo is produced and packaged in the Prefecture of Chania, Crete.

Ouzo is the most fragrant and sweetest alcoholic drink in all parts of Greece.

It is flavored with fruits and natural herbs during the distillation process, with anise predominant. Diluting it with water is the secret that brings out the fragrance from the essential oils of its ingredients.

Ouzo is a drink produced by distilling mainly the by-products of wine.

It is produced exclusively in Greece, where it is widely consumed, while it is the Greek drink that is also exported abroad. It belongs to the category of distilled weak spirits and spirits.

What is the difference between ouzo and tsikoudia (raki)?

The main difference between tsikoudia (raki) and ouzo is that the tsikoudia has as raw material the remains of the winemaking, the tsambouras, the grapes or the skins of the grapes which are fermented at low temperatures, in this way, they yield the aromas as well as all the special characteristics of the grapes, while it is possible to add light aromas of fruits or herbs. The distillation can be carried out 1-2 or even 3 times, it depends on the character of the distillate.

While ouzo is the mixture of pure alcohol of agricultural origin with a wide variety of aromatic plants, mainly aniseed.
